North America - Lehigh Cement Company American Legion Recognizes Mitchell Plant as Employer of the Year

The American Legion named Lehigh Cement Company, Mitchell, Indiana as the recipient of its 2004 Employer of the Year in the medium business category. Bob Whiteside, Electrical Superintendent, attended the American Legion annual convention for the presentation ceremonies, to accept the award on behalf of the plant. Commander Baer made the presentation on July 10, 2004 during the 86th Annual Department Convention in the grand ballroom of the Indianapolis Marriott Hotel. The award, conferred by the American Legion's Rehabilitation Commission, honors outstanding effort on behalf of Hoosier veterans. It is among our highest awards.
