Lehigh's In-Kind Donations Benefit Allentown Area Students and Agencies Computers are a Classroom Upgrade
The Kindergarten class at Christ the King School in Whitehall, PA is thrilled with the opportunity for better learning from their two "new" used computers from the Allentown, PA office of Lehigh Cement Company. Every student signed the thank-you card [pictured].
Other donations of used computer equipment last year went to the ESOL Saturday Family Academy and after school programs in Allentown, PA, a local YMCA, a Police Athletic League and a volunteer fire department.
The Information Technology department routinely coordinates donations of computer equipment that is outdated for business purposes but still quite useful, to deserving non-profit organizations.
